Your CV is what turns arco from a filter into an assessment. It is the single biggest improvement you can make to your match quality. Once uploaded, arco reads your full work history and scores every job against it.
1

Choose where to upload

You can upload your CV from several places in arco:
  • Settings → Profile
  • The Upload resume indicator in the top navigation bar
  • The AI Coach panel when it prompts you
2

Select your file

Pick your CV file from your device. arco supports common document formats. Processing takes a few moments while your experience is extracted.
3

Confirm it worked

When a CV is active, the navigation bar shows a Resume active indicator. If it still says Upload resume, no CV is currently attached.

What happens after upload

arco extracts your full history, including every position, role, date, and the substance of what you did. Your CV becomes your master CV. From that point on, every job you see is scored against it. Your existing matches do not rescore instantly. New scores apply from your next search onward.
Upload an ATS-readable CV. A clean, text-based document reads far better than a heavily designed one. If your CV is built as a single image or has text baked into graphics, extraction will be poor.

Getting the best results

  • Include your full history, not a one-line summary per role. arco assesses relevant experience by discipline, and it needs the detail to do that.
  • Keep dates clear. Experience length is calculated from them.
