Guided Optimization is a three-step flow that takes your CV, measures it against one specific job, and walks you through fixing the gaps. Use it when a role matters to you and you want your application to be as strong as it can be.
1

Audit your CV against the job

arco scores your current CV against this specific posting and shows you:
  • Your match score for this role
  • Missing keywords the posting uses that your CV does not
  • Red flags: the specific gaps that would hurt you here
This step is diagnostic. Nothing has changed yet.
2

Fix the gaps with a rewrite worklist

Rather than handing you a rewritten CV to accept blindly, arco gives you a worklist of discrete fixes. Each fix shows:
  • What kind of fix it is (missing metric, weak verb, missing keyword)
  • Why it matters for this particular role
  • Before: the line as it currently reads
  • After: the suggested rewrite, with one-click copy
You keep your own CV document open beside arco and apply the changes yourself. As you work through them, tick each one off. A progress bar tracks how many fixes you have applied. If a fix needs a number you do not have, arco will ask you for it inline rather than inventing one.
3

Verify your updated CV

Once you have applied your fixes, re-check the result. Paste your updated CV text or upload the file, and arco scores it against this same job so you can see whether the work moved the number.
The re-check is scoped to this job only. It never saves over your master CV and never triggers a rescore of everything else on your Board.

Your progress is saved

You can leave partway through and come back. Guided Optimization remembers where you were for each job independently.
