Use a Different CV for One Job Application in arco - arco Help Center

Sometimes the CV you want to use for a particular role is not your master CV. arco supports that without you having to overwrite anything. This matters when you are pursuing roles across more than one discipline or seniority band, and a single document cannot serve both well.

How it works

arco works at two levels:

Master CV: Global. Scores every job on your Board.
Per-job CV: Applies to one specific role inside the AI Coach.

Inside the AI Coach for a specific job, you can supply a different CV to work from. Guided Optimization will then audit and improve that version for that role.

The separation is deliberate. Your Board scores stay comparable across every job, because they are all measured against the same master CV. A per-job variant is a working document for one application, not a change to how arco assesses you.

When to use a per-job variant vs. replacing your master CV

Use a per-job variant when you are tailoring for one application, or applying to roles across different disciplines.
Replace your master CV when your main CV has genuinely changed, such as a new role or a significant rewrite.
