# Common Questions About arco: Applications, CV Sharing, Mobile, and More

These are the most common questions arco users ask. Each answer is self-contained, so you can jump straight to what you need.

    No. arco finds, scores, and helps you prepare. You always apply yourself.

    No. Your CV is used to score jobs and power the AI Coach. Nothing is shared.

  <Accordion title="Why does a search take several minutes?">
    Every search queries multiple job sources, retrieves postings, and scores each one individually. Expect 5-10 minutes, occasionally longer.

  <Accordion title="Can I use arco on my phone?">
    Yes. arco works in your mobile browser.

  <Accordion title="Why do I see the same company more than once?">
    Companies often post several open roles. Each is scored separately.

  <Accordion title="What's the difference between hiding and rejecting a job?">
    Hiding removes a job from your Board before you ever pursued it. Rejected is a pipeline outcome after you applied.

  <Accordion title="Can I get my data out of arco?">
    Yes. Export your Pipeline to Excel from the Pipeline toolbar, on any plan.

  <Accordion title="Does the AI Coach write my CV for me?">
    Not exactly. Guided Optimization gives you specific, discrete fixes with before-and-after rewrites that you apply to your own document.

  <Accordion title="Will the Coach invent experience to improve my score?">
    No. It reframes and sharpens what's genuinely in your history. If a rewrite needs a metric, it asks you rather than inventing one.

  <Accordion title="If I cancel Pro, do I lose my data?">
    No. Your Pipeline, saved jobs, notes, CV, and Coach history all stay.
