# Add a Job Manually to arco

> Learn how to manually add a job URL or enter role details yourself so arco scores it against your profile and CV and adds it to your Pipeline.

Found a role somewhere arco didn't surface? You can add it yourself and get it scored like any other match. Once added, the job carries a match score, red and green flags, works with the AI Coach, and sits in your Pipeline.

    Open the Pipeline section from arco's main navigation.

    This starts the process of adding a new job.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Paste the job URL or enter details manually">
    Provide the posting link, or fill in the role details yourself if the URL doesn't work.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Let arco score the job">
    arco retrieves the posting and scores it against your profile and CV.

  Each manual add triggers a full AI analysis, which is why there's a cap on the Free plan.

  * **Free:** 3 manual job adds, lifetime. Worth saving for roles you genuinely care about.
  * **Pro:** no limit.

## If a URL won't work

Some job pages can't be read automatically. Most common causes:

* The page requires a login to view the posting.
* The posting has been taken down.
* The page is heavily scripted.

LinkedIn job URLs in particular can be unreliable. If a URL fails, enter the role details manually instead.
