# Change or Reset Your arco Account Password in a Few Steps

> Change your arco password while signed in, or reset it if you've forgotten it. Includes steps for both cases and tips for choosing a strong password.

You can change your arco password from your account settings, or reset it via email if you've forgotten it. Pick the option that matches your situation below.

        Open your account settings and navigate to the Profile section.

        Locate the password change option in your profile settings.

        Type your current password, then enter your new one.

        Confirm the change. If your current password is entered incorrectly, you'll see an error and stay signed in.

## Choosing a good password

Use something long and unique to arco. A password manager is the easiest way to do this well.
